The second-generation COVERT winch delivers advanced design, robust performance, and fast line speeds in a simple-to-fit package. Developed and tested in Australia, it features a unique built-in control unit, eliminating the need for an external control box for durable, unobtrusive installation.

Designed in Australia and built with top-tier components, the COVERT winch is engineered for optimum strength and resilience. The compact, synergistic design delivers fast line speeds and lower current draw, with enhanced motor efficiency from its Albright Industries-built control unit, matched to a finely tuned motor and 4-stage gearbox.

The Bushranger COVERT winch revolutionises winch technology with its enhanced built-in control unit, ensuring compatibility with a wider range of modern vehicle bull bars. The design eliminates the need for a conventional control box, allowing an unobtrusive fitment that does not interfere with cooling system airflow or vehicle sensors. This provides a more versatile, covert look.

BUILT-IN MOTOR CONTROL UNIT: The integrated design includes a direct bus bar connection to an enhanced Albright contactor, offering built-in low-current fuse circuit protection, integrated wiring harness, secured wiring and upgraded connectors to deliver increased motor efficiency and durability.

TUNED 5.3HP 12V MOTOR: The purpose-built series-wound motor powers the 4-stage gearbox, resulting in faster line speeds at lower current draws.

4-STAGE GEARBOX: The 171:1 Ratio gearbox features hardened steel gearing for improved load distribution, maximum strength and durability.

ZERO DRAG BRAKING SYSTEM: The gearbox-mounted brake provides 100% load holding and the capacity for powered unspooling, under no load, without any damage to the winch.

EASY TURN CLUTCH HANDLE: The 90-degree turn handle is simple to operate, especially in tighter fitment locations.

ROBUST CONSTRUCTION: Lightweight aluminium alloy housings and a one-piece bridging plate are structurally designed and finished with a durable pretreated satin powder coat.

QUICK & EASY FITMENT: With multiple mounting options, the versatile COVERT winch is prewired and has preset clutch positioning to suit most common bull bars.

DUAL CONNECTION 2.4GHz WIRELESS CONTROL: Increased reliability with greater wireless range through a secure 2.4GHz wireless remote and resin-encapsulated IP68-rated receiver. Witness a stronger wireless signal with up to 40m range. Plus a 5m cable for a direct wired connection.

POWER ISOLATION SWITCH: Standard inclusion of a 500-amp isolation switch with multiple universal mounting brackets, stainless lanyard and dust cover.

HIGH SPEC POWDER COAT: Finished in premium-grade Akzo-Nobel Satin Black powder coat, which enables a high level of UV resistance and long-term durability.  

MORE COVERT-NESS: Black zinc-nickel stainless fasteners, black-on-black graphics, a textured clutch handle, and endcap infills add subtle touches that enhance the aesthetic appeal.
